The mesmerizing golden dunes of the Sahara desert extend across the North African region from the Atlantic coast to the Red Sea. During my trip, I had the opportunity to explore the cultural hub of Ouarzazate, Morocco, the bustling markets of Zagora, the busy ports and rugged coasts of Laayoune, the tranquility of the pristine beaches of Djerba, Tunisia, as well as the unforgiving desert landscape that borders Algeria and Libya. Listening to and learning from the local Sahrawis, Moroccans, Berbers, and other ethnic groups was an unforgettable experience. This region has a complex history. The future seems uncertain. However, I invite you to join me on a visual journey that captures a contemporary snapshot of North Africa's beauty.
